In its 35th Anniversary year, the S.L.E. Lupus Foundation is proud to honor
Jennie L. and Richard K. DeScherer, a couple that has made such a difference
in the lives of so many, and to recognize immunologist William E. Paul, MD,
a scientist of remarkable contributions to the field of lupus research. The
Honorable Michael R. Bloomberg will be the Honorary Gala Chair and
television anchor Charles Osgood will serve as Master of Ceremonies at the
December 5th Gala at the New York Marriott Marquis. The legendary Tony
