A New App to Help You Keep Track of Your Lupus Care
A free new app, the Lupus Companion, was just released to help people with lupus keep track of their medications, appointments and symptoms. Developed by doctors and patients, the app includes a short questionnaire designed to be taken every three months to help monitor disease activity. The results can be shared with your doctor.
The Lupus Companion was developed as part of the Lupus Initiative, a program to educate healthcare professionals about diagnosing and treating lupus. The Lupus Research Institute’s (LRI) National Patient Coalition effectively advocated for Congressional funding to make the Lupus Initiative possible.
