Connecticut Grants Nearly $10M for Stem Cell Research – Over $1M for Lupus

Connecticut Governor Dannel P. Malloy announced the award of nearly $10 million in stem cell research funds to 18 Connecticut–based researchers. Specializing in lupus, Dr. Joseph Craft at Yale University received one of the grants for over $1 million to study the potential treatment role of a particular type of stem cells that can be generated from adult cells.
