Could I Have Lupus?

In 2009, the S.L.E. Lupus Foundation partnered with the U.S. Dept of Health and Human Services’ Office on Women’s Health and the Ad Council to launch the “Could I Have Lupus” campaign. Featuring a series of diary entries from real life women with lupus, the television, print, and radio ads target young women of color to educate about the signs and symptoms of the disease. Get into the Loop™! (2005)

As a member of the Lupus Research Institute National Coalition, the Foundation promoted the “Get into the Loop™!” television PSA starring actor James Garner. Created by Saatchi & Saatchi.

What’s Lupus? (1999)

The Foundation premiered the orange loop as its global symbol for lupus awareness with the “What is Lupus?” print, radio, and television PSA. Created by D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles.
